Congratulations on your nuptials! With a new spouse, you’ll need to decide whether you want to cover them under your Peraton benefits. In addition, there are several other benefits and programs they can participate in because they’re now part of your family. Making Changes
You have 601 days from the date of your marriage to make changes to your benefits in the Benefits & Beyond Enrollment Portal, powered by bswift.
1. If you are enrolled in the HMSA or Triple S medical plan or Life or Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance and want to make a change due to a QLE, you must request the change in your election within 30 days of the event.
Note: If you newly enroll a dependent for medical, dental or vision coverage, you have 45 days to provide the required documentation to verify your dependent’s eligibility. Documentation must be submitted via the Benefits & Beyond Enrollment Portal, powered by bswift.
