Supplemental Health Options
Peraton’s medical plans offer coverage for many common healthcare services you may need, but you still have to pay out of pocket for deductibles, copays, and other costs that may be related to an injury or sickness. We make the following plans available to you as supplemental insurance coverages, which can help fill important gaps in standard medical plans. Each supplemental health plan option provides lump-sum payments to help defray out-of-pocket healthcare costs.
Supplemental Health Plan Option | Provides Lump-Sum Payment For | |
---|---|---|
Critical Illness | Expenses you have as a result of more than 20 qualifying illnesses, including certain cancers, kidney failure, and stroke. | |
Hospital Indemnity | Days when you are admitted to the hospital. | |
Accident Insurance | 150 accident-related conditions (e.g., fractures, broken teeth, comas.) |
